Our booking policy across both restaurants

Please note that we keep some our tables for walk ins, but as our restaurants get quite busy, we recommend booking in advance. If you cannot book a table online, please try our walk-in tables or give the restaurant a call. Reserved tables are held for a maximum of 15 minutes at busy times. If you are running late please call the restaurant. Reservations for groups of up to 12 people will be taken by phone. For reservations for groups of over 12 people please email aldgate@emiliaspasta.com

There are two types of pasta, dried (that’s without egg) or fresh (with egg). Dried pasta is denser and firmer than egg pasta. The more the dough is mixed the more elasticity the pasta will develop…

Our Story

The journey so far…

…I started travelling around Italy and learning more about the craft behind pasta – you don’t see potatoes, rice or bread in the multitude of fun shapes you’d find pasta. I came to really appreciate the craft behind involved in creating this delicious and aesthetically pleasing food… I also became fascinated by the science behind the pairing of sauces with their shapes and the geometry behind the shapes…
